15-Minute New York Strip Steak

These juicy New York Strip steaks will make you the belle of the ball at any backyard party. Remember to cook your meats low-and-slow (especially with grassfed and pastured meats). Enjoy!
Serves: 4 - 6
  • 4 - 6 8-ounce grass-fed New York Strip Steaks
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • Coarsely ground black pepper
  1. Rub steaks on all sides with olive oil, salt, and coarsely ground black pepper.
  2. Heat grill to medium heat. Lay steaks directly on the grill.
  3. Cook 3 - 5 minutes until bottom is nicely browned (but not charred). Flip and cook another 3 - 4 minutes to desired temperature. Keep in mind that grass-fed meats are always best medium-rare to rare (remove from grill when the internal temperature is between 130°F and 140°F).
  4. Remove to a platter and allow to rest about 5 minutes before cutting and serving.
