Thanks for the recipes, they look awesome. Not only that, but the link for bacon filled avocado cups (in the fried avocado post) looks like the best breakfast ever, considering I don’t like eggs!
thanks again!

Awesome, thanks Amber!

Do you think frying the avocado oxidizes the fat?
Abel James says
Probably, but it sure is delicious.
Kelly says
Love the avocados! Been eating a batch everyother day or so. At what temp does avacado fat oxidize? My avocados barely get warm when I make this, so I don’t think it is high enough heat to oxidize.

There is definately a great deal to learn about this issue.
I love all the points you’ve made.
Melinda says
From what I understand, avocado OIL doesn’t oxidize until over 480 degrees F… I’m thinking that the still raw avocado on the inside of the fritter would still be left untouched.

Just made a green shake inspired by the wild diet. 4 bundles of raw spinach, 1 clove of garlic for a slight kick of spice, 1 tablespoon of coconut butter, 1 tablespoon of grass fed butter, 1 scoop of protein powder (less than 2 grams of sugar per serving), and 2 tablespoons of chia seeds. Tasted amazing. Thanks for the inspiration…oh and i’ve lost 15 lbs in 2 and a half weeks! Can’t wait to try these recipes!

I forgot to mention I used almond milk to help blend to desired thickness.
